Hello everyone and happy Fall!
Forrest here, checking in after a busy summer. People had told us all year long, “Just wait until summer” and boy was everyone right. We had a great time meeting so many new folks and of course all of our friends and regulars too. We got in some good hikes and lots of river-swimming, a few good sunsets and a couple outings in the tubes and our kayak.
But we’re excited for the nice cool fall weather arriving now and are looking forward to the winter ahead! We’ll have some more events coming up this season, and a really interesting new book about the Ecology of the 48 4000 Footers in NH, so keep your eyes peeled for all of that.
We slowed down for a moment in September to regroup a bit following the months-long stretch of 6 days a week all summer. Now, as we approach October and beyond, we'll generally be open 5 days a week for the season ahead. We will continue to update the bottom of this homepage and google listing each week with our hours for the week ahead plus a FB post, every Sunday, as well as the whiteboard in the window too.
