New England Maps & Outdoor/Travel Books

Thank you for visiting The Mountain Wanderer Map & Book Store website. We offer a wide selection of hiking and other outdoor recreation and travel guidebooks and maps for New Hampshire’s White Mountains plus all of New England and eastern New York. We are also a dealer for U.S. Geological Survey topographic maps. We have been honored by Yankee Magazine with a 2010 "Best of New England" Editor's Choice award for Best Hiking Maps and Guides. 

Our small but well-stocked retail store is located on the Kancamagus Highway (Route 112) in Lincoln, NH, close to many White Mountain trails and attractions. Look for us on the north side of the road next to the Kancamagus Country Store/Irving Gas. We’re just 0.3 mile east of I-93 at Exit 32.
